Our Goal

Central Europe is coming alive as one of the world’s most desirable travel destinations. Today, many tour operators offer a wide range of travel programs. But not many deliver what we do: a great mix of activities along with off-the-beaten-path experiences – something only a small group could offer.

We are not a mass group and travel services operator. We create and operate our own trips, constantly create special experiences, and many times go beyond the itinerary. We excel in covering territories that we know well and we can therefore show our travelers places that other travel companies can not.

We go beyond the capital and larger cities in each country and venture into the countryside. We show our travelers cultural, historical, natural, musical and culinary variety. We want you to know and feel the country and to make friends. We want you to explore and understand the local people’s life in every region and in every country we visit. We want to touch your heart.

The Operators

Frank Fristensky was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia. Following the occupation of his former home country by the Soviet armies in 1968 the entire family fled to Switzerland. After graduating from the Swiss National Institute of Sports he taught physical education, was involved in semi-professional sports, and traveled the world. In 1996 Frank and his family moved to Durango, Colorado. Frank speaks fluent Czech and German and can communicate more than adequately in other Central European languages. He still has family living throughout the Czech Republic and makes it a point to visit relatives with his tour groups.


Michal Zeman is a native of Prague (Praha). Mike has been in the travel business for the last 20 years and his knowledge of Central Europe is second to none. Over the years, in both the group and personal travel business, he has developed a vast and extensive relationship with local folk artists, rustic huts and small hotel operators, and everyday local people that contribute greatly to the group’s experience and spontaneity. During our journey he constantly finds small "surprises" that greatly enhances our clients’ experience. Mike is our expert small bus driver and manages our daily program

Frank and Mike have been organizing and operating EuroAm Travel Club’s tours since 2003.
