Cancellation of the tour: We reserve the right to cancel any trip when a minimum number of people do not sign up for a particular trip within 95 days of departure. In that case, those who have made a deposit will be fully refunded.
Exchange Rate: Tour cost adjustments may occur according to the current exchange rate.
Travel Documents: A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens on all tours. No visas are required for Central European countries.
Activity Level: In order to get the full benefit of our trips, an adequate degree of physical conditioning is recommended. A good amount of walking and hiking is involved in touring cities, cultural sites, and natural areas. In addition, some small hotels do not have elevators and the traveler must be able to transport their own luggage. If you have any questions as to whether you are physically fit for these trips, contact us.
Medical: EuroAm Travel Club is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the trip nor is it responsible for the quality of medical care you may receive. You are encouraged to find out if your health insurance covers you while travelling and ensure that you take proper identification with you on the trip.
Travel Insurance: Each season, a handful of clients have to cancel their tours at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances such as delays or cancelations, illness or injury. For this reason, EuroAmTravel Club highly recommends the purchase of travel insurance - our choice is AIG Travel Guard. We recommend purchasing the "Protect Assist Gold" plan coverage provided by AIG Travel Guard for tours taken with EuroAm Travel Club. The policy has many other benefits, so please review the plan information carefully (see on the top of this page).
Following is a breakdown of the extra benefits of purchasing the "Protect Assist Gold" plan coverage within 15 days of making the initial tour payment:
• Coverage for pre-existing conditions
• Financial default coverage of an airline, cruise line or tour operator
• Missed connection benefit increases from $250 to $500
• $50,000 in flight guard is added to the policy (flight accident insurance)
Air Transportation: Your tour package does not include airfare to and from Central Europe and you will need to arrange your own. Please contact us prior to making your reservation or if you need assistance. Please remember that the first and last names on your plane ticket must be exactly the same as they appear on your passport.
Land Transportation: We travel in a modern air-conditioned van and uphold a no smoking policy. However, there are frequent stops so that those who wish to smoke will have the opportunity.
Hotels: Accommodations are usually locally owned hotels in order to maintain contact with the local culture and to support the local economy. Please note, however, that European hotel rooms tend to be smaller and air conditioning is not as common as in the United States. It is our goal to find accommodations that offer the best combination of quality, atmosphere, value, and location.
Food: Most meals are included and feature local cuisine. The tour directors will pre-book tables, many times the meal is pre-determined, and the food is always delicious. There is some opportunity to dine on your own without the group.
Changes: We will do our best to adhere to the itinerary as closely as possible. We do, however, reserve the right to make changes to any part of the itinerary if causes beyond our control forces use to do so. In such cases, comparable services and accommodations will be substituted.
Agreement: EuroAm Travel Club reserves the right to remove any member from a tour in progress if it is thought that the individual is adversely affecting the health, safety, or enjoyment of the other participants. No refund will be made for the unused portion of the tour.
Responsibility: EuroAm Travel Club acts only as an agent for all carriers and services and its responsibility is strictly limited. We are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to person or property during the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, natural disasters, strikes, war, or other events beyond our control. By forwarding your deposit to us, you certify that you do not have any mental, physical, or other condition of disability that would create a hazard for yourself or other passengers, and agree to be bound by the above-stated terms.
